For 12 years, Pete taught Edinburgh Drum Soc (2003-2015), teaching West African Djembe and Dun Dun traditional rhythms and breaks and Specialist modules in Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian Drumming & Song to beginners and in recent years an intermediate/improvers level class was “sold out”!!
The society performed many times around Edinburgh for charity nights and has now evolved into the drum and dance troupe "Anansi". They are often seen performing vibrant gigs around Edinburgh for charity nights and more recently being booked for summer festivals and club nights across Scotland.

Bata time! Intermdiate/improvers 6 week course leads to looking at Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brazilian styles, and a healthy blast of djembe rhythms and skills, but this was all about exploring a 6/8 fusion...some great players that year ;-)
